How to make a mask for nurses

In this odd time, we have been asked to come together as a sewing community to make masks to go over the N95 masks that the nurses wear. Due to a low volume of the N95 masks, the nurses must make them stretch. By wearing a cloth mask over the top, it will allow the nurses to do just that. It will also give them an extra barrier for protection.

I would like to thank BoltstoBlocks.com (my local fabric store) for the link to the pattern. https://www.instructables.com/id/AB-Mask-for-a-Nurse-by-a-Nurse/ If you choose to make these masks, please donate them. Our nurses and healthcare workers are on the front lines of this virus and they need all the support, kindness and love that we can give them.

I’m a visual learner, and I learn best by watching videos, so I decided that I would create a video on how to make these masks. Please follow along (Masks for Nurses Tutorial). I was able to do one in about an hour, but if I was to create an assembly line, I’m sure that it would go faster.
