Paper Flower Shadow Box Project

I saw a couple of shadow boxes with paper flowers inside and I thought I would give it a try. I happened to find at http://michaels.com a sale where it was buy 1 get 2 free. Keep an eye out for the sales! I got the idea from https://jennifermaker.com/paper-flower-shadow-box/. She also has a great Facebook Group that is VERY supportive!

Flower Template Cutouts

Once I uploaded Jennifer Makers flowers I cut them out on my Cricut and this is the pile of work that I created for myself.

Next, I used a quilling tool, stuck the paper inside the space and started to roll away!

The next step will be to hot glue the bottoms on, but I am going to wait and dry fit them into shadow boxes once they get here. They have been shipped and are on their way!!

The shadow boxes finally came and now I’m set to get the flowers all rolled and hot glued.

Once I got all the flowers rolled, I cut out a vinyl saying to attach to the glass of the box. Because I chose to use the holographic vinyl, I attached the vinyl to the front of the glass, with the flowers behind the glass.

I put them in upside down on top of the glass so that they would be facing the correct direction when all closed up. Tip: put the backing on, but do not close it, to check to see if the flowers are where they are supposed to be.
Final Project
I enjoyed this project so much, I decided to do another one. This one will be donated to a 4H art auction.
